Sandra is getting ready for another foot of snow today and tomorrow!
Spotlight
NO flea market treasures this week! : (
Unfortunately, because of the 22+ inches of snow we got, the flea market was closed today. But, I probably would not have gone even if it were open as the temp at 6am this morning was 13 degrees . . . more

Gul Dixon , Feb 9, 2010, 9:37AM ESTHi Sandy! I feel real pushed with this darn quilt. It feels like it's never going to finish. The deadline is first of March. I am hurrying as much as I can but the patterns have to be completed! I am so sorry about your hubby and son. Flu takes time I suppose. Our driveway was cleaned by my breathless hubby and the young man from next door. Unfortunately we are expecting more than A foot tonight. So it's all over again. Nobody, I feel like, needs spring more than my bones. Have a good day, my friend and take care so you won't get sick.

Diane H., Feb 9, 2010, 9:02AM ESTMore snow heading our way Sandy, another good round of snow predicted to hit us around 4 p.m. My little buddy arrived sick this morning. I have him resting on the couch. Poor little thing. He is such a good little guy. Hope we don't get as much as predicted. Hugs to Stacey.

Diane H., Feb 8, 2010, 5:02PM ESTSandy, glad to hear you got out for a while. I am not so excited about the weather forecast of more snow on the way either. I really did my back in, i am sooo stiff. I do feel a tad better today though. That sure was a lot of shoveling for one person, it took me all day. Hope your family recovers soon, that sure does stink. I am so glad Stacey is showing some signs of improving. How has your back been? I have just been doing Icy Hot on mine at nite. Seems to help some. Seems like the bug has gone through your house hitting everyone. I bet you can't wait for Spring when you can open alll of the windows. Maybe you should let a little of that cold winter air in for a short bit. My grandmother always said the winter cold air kills the germs. Well, take care

M M., Feb 6, 2010, 4:13PM ESTHi Sweetie. How is Stacy now? I hope she is doing better. How are you feeling? Is your back staying well? I hope so. Sorry you have such cold weather, I would glad change if it were possible. I'm not fond of heat. Although, right now it is lovely here.
I won't be on line a couple days, but will catch up to ya when I come back. Between doctors and therapy, I don't have lots of time for Gather like I used too. But I do come here a few times a week to stay in touch. I try really hard to keep up with your posts. You are such a talented photographer. Prayers are for you and Stacy and the family.
Have a blessed weekend. (((HUGS))) -
Marilyn M., Feb 6, 2010, 5:44AM ESTGood morning, Sandy! Just wanted to stop by and thank you for all the nice comments and recommendations you've left for me. You've been a great friend to me on Gather and I appreciate it very much. Stay safe this weekend with all that nasty weather headed your way ~ you're in my prayers. Should make for some great photos though! Hugs. ^i^

Barbara M., Feb 4, 2010, 11:33PM ESTSandy, I'm happy to report that my recent chest x-ray showed that the pneumonia is gone. I'm still having a little trouble with the ear. I think the infection is gone but my ear is still stopped up (6 weeks tomorrow). My sinus infection is clearing up too. I'm so sorry Stacey isn't well. Don't hesitate to take her to the doctor if she doesn't get better. I waited too long and I've paid for it in recovery time. More snow? Wow, we had a big snow storm last Saturday and there's still a little on the ground. That storm that's headed for you is bringing us lots of rain, high winds and maybe a flurry or two but little accumulation expected. The snow last week was pretty for one day and then I was ready for it to be gone. I hope you stay safe and warm. Take care and hugs to you too!

Peggy C., Feb 4, 2010, 8:12PM ESTHi Pam, take your time answering me, you have had your hands full, and you are probably tired as well. I understand what you are going through. I hope Stacy is feeling better. Jimmy and I are doing fine, he went to the doctor yesterday, he had a good report, he is doing well. I don't look forward to the snow neither, was snow in last weekend, it looks the same for this weekend and most of February in this area. Wet snow coming tomorrow and more later in the next week. Went and got what we needed today and did a little shopping for me as well. Brought 2 summer tops at K-mart for $7.99 a piece. My bill said I saved $7.49 with K-mart bill and with the grocery store bill save another $7.59 or so with what I brought. So I brought my shirts, with the savings that I had. That felt good. Have a good evening, stay warm, and take care. Peggy

Rhonda M., Feb 4, 2010, 8:38AM ESTHi Sandy...I too get behind on my pings too! The days are just flying by, so much to do. Were still in the teens every morning and you are right, Briar isn't loving the real cold mornings but if there's a squirrel to chase out of the yard she goes right out...LOL Stay warm and think spring! Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by.
